I've been wanting to do this for a long long time.
Back in college--Colorado State in the late Eighties--I started taking pictures of signs with stuff misspelled. Fruit and vegetable stands are big for this. Fish markets, too ("shrimps" is a favorite).
I've amassed quite a few of these over the years. And this blog is gonna finally give me something to do with them.
This first one is courtesy of JR's Flea Market in Smithfield, North Carolina. There was signage everywhere--snack bar menu, parking lot, etc--and almost every word was misspelled. If you come here regularly, you'll see a lot of this place.
